Designed for maximum impact resistance

The strength of Bulitex® BX comes from its exclusive process of weaving continuous glass fibers into a flexible fabric, then laminating multiple layers with polypropylene resin under heat and pressure. The result is a rigid, ballistic-grade composite capable of stopping a .45 caliber bullet fired from twenty feet.


This multilayer construction provides exceptional energy absorption, reducing cracks and punctures while offering thermal expansion properties similar to aluminum. Its woven glass matrix ensures evenly distributed strength, durability, and resistance to rot, corrosion, mildew, and harsh cleaning chemicals.


Available in thicknesses from 0.100 to 0.200 inches, Bulitex® BX is supplied in coils up to 600 feet long and 96 inches wide, or cut to length for specific applications. Panels can be easily cut, installed, and repaired in the field using heat.
